That little ping on your phone. A message from a loved one, a task reminder, another email demanding your attention. Sound familiar? In our go-go-go world, fueled by ambition and the relentless pursuit of “more,” it’s easy to get swept up in the current of constant activity.
I recently received a text from my amazing niece, a bright and driven 25-year-old who just bought her first home! My heart swelled with pride. I asked her to send photos of her new furniture, excited to see her personal touch on her hard-earned space. Her reply came a week or so later, filled with apologies for the delay and the very believable excuse of simply being tired.
